The South Carolina Commission for the Blind aims to provide services to the visually impaired or blind residents of South Carolina. These services are designed to assist these persons to become socially and economically independent.

Goodwill Job Connection and Senior Employment Program
Goodwill has many job training programs, including programs like becoming a nursing assistant. They have retail training and training for manufacturing. They also have specialized services for participants over the age of 55 who need help connecting with a job.

The Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) supplies a large variety of support for job seekers including emergency assistance funds. Job training may be available.
